It is with pride we at Oakridge would like to brag on two of our girls. Both these girls belong to Jack and Sandy Libby,and we are so proud of what they have done with them. First- Oakridge Imagine That " Maggie " is a daughter of ASCA/AKC Ch. Oakridge Image Of Power- Midge Second- Oakridge Blue Clear Skies " Callie " is the daughter of UKC Ch. Goldstar Family Tradition - Mia Jack mailed and said they both now have there Therpy Dog Titles. I am so proud of them,and of course all Jacks hard work. And Sandy's tolerance of working through their mishaps,and messes . Maggie |

I've been so busy with the pups and building agility equipment,I haven't updated this page in a long while. To round out the 2005 year of showing,Mia and Tilley each completed the requirments for their UKC championship titles. On Sat. Nov.5,2005 under judge Mr.Dan Crutchfield Mia obtained her new title. She is now UKC Ch. Goldstar Famiily Tradition.
Then on Sunday,Nov.6,under judge Mrs. Elenor Brown,it was Tilley's turn. But my knee had given out,so I had to rely on my dogshow buddy Lynda Shackelford and a girl I don't even know her name,to show for me. I had to leave Mia in as a class bitch,so Tilley would get the compitition points needed to finish. Boy were we sweating when the judge kept looking at Mia and not Tilley. But with Lynda's great handling ,she picked Tilley. So now besides having her ASCA championship,Tilley is also UKC Ch. Oakridge Waltzing Matilda.

April 8 & 9,2006 Tilley got back into showing with a bang !! Thanks to the great handling of Lynda Shackelford,and Tilley finally getting her coat back in,they had a very good two days of showing. Sat. Tilley won Winners Bitch,Best Of Winners and Best Oppisit Sex under judge Mrs. Janet Robinson,for 1 point. Then on Sun. under judge Mrs. Doris Miller,again won Winners Bitch,and Best Oppisit Sex for another point. Check out The Girls page,and watch for Tilley's win picture,soon to be put up. A big Thank You to Lynda,who handed off her own bitch so she could stay on Tilley. |
| Well we made it back from Nationals,and here is some of what went on. Tilley was bald,Mia was her usual fun self,my knees finally gave out,but we had a Great time. Oh and I didn't get into to much trouble with my cool blue scooter. Sorry about the horn beep during a cattle run,but I heard later that the cattle were winning anyway ;-(. A big thank you to Wendy Cowell for handling Tilley in Best Of Breed at the two pre shows,I didn't know she could move that well,Tilley,not Wendy. Also a special Thank You to Kim Depp for being on constant stand by to handle.Thanks really doesn't cover what that meant to me. To Renee' St. Jaques who showed Tilley in Best Of Breed at Nationals. You did a good job ,considering what you had to work with(poor Tilley was real bald). And for never having handled Tilley,you sure were good with her.Thank you so much. I think Mia had lots more fun then Tilley,but Mia seems to find fun in anything she does.For one of the pre shows Mia was handled by Alisha Depp (Kim's daughter) and boy did they make a great team.They managed to pull off a 4th. place in a very nice open red merle class.Then for the other pre show,Mia was handed over to an up and coming Jr. handler,Miss Karina Sothern.Watch for this young lady in a ring near you.She'll be the one with the Winning smile.She is a fantastic young lady,and even though Mia just wanted to play,did a good job with her. For Nationals Open Red Merle class,I was honored to have Sr.breeder judge,long time friend,Mrs Andria Blizzard show her.As expected she did a great job,but Mia just wasn't the judges type for that day. It was wonderful seeing old friends,meeting new long distance friends,putting faces to email friends,and really great finally meeting my German dogshow daughter Nadia and her husband Ralph.And I have to say,Ralph did very well understanding me,that is,until I started the fast redneck talk,then he was lost.He and Nadia would laugh about some of the things I said,talk it over in German,and laugh some more.
